We are pleaesed to annouce that Mr. Chauncy Spears has been selected by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation as a fellow in the Community Leadership Network. Mr. Spears is a Master of Public Administration student currently working on his thesis.  The W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Network in collaboration with the Center for Creative Leadership is an innovative fellowship for local leaders to connect, grow and lead transformational change toward a more equitable society. Mr. Spears will be part of a dynamic and diverse group of 80 leaders, selected nationwide,  who are dedicated to working within their communities to build brighter futures for children and families. The 18-month fellowship will provide hands-on training, personalized coaching, peer networking and practical experience. Upon notification of his selection, Mr. Spears stated “I’m looking forward to deepening my knowledge and skills to advance racial equity and racial healing in our community and create sustainable solutions to our most pressing problems.” The first gathering is taking place this September.
