🔁 Week 4: Midpoint Review & Reflection

 

This midpoint session offers space to reflect, recalibrate, and gather renewed momentum for the second half of the program.

🖋️ 1. Opening Prompt (5 minutes)
“When I imagine holding a final draft of this article in my hands, what makes it feel done and publishable to me?”
→ Free-write on your computer for 3–5 minutes. No wrong answers.

📊 2. Momentum Survey (10 minutes)

  • What’s one thing I’ve accomplished so far that I’m proud of?
  • What’s one challenge I’m facing right now?
  • What’s one thing I want to commit to between now and Week 7?

→ Share in Zoom chat or record in our shared group doc.

🤝 3. Accountability Partner Touchpoint (15–20 minutes)

  • How has our partnership been going? What’s working well?
  • Have we been consistent in check-ins and sharing feedback?
  • What changes do we want to make for the second half?

🎯 4. Writing Goals Reset (10 minutes)Reframe your writing commitment for the next two weeks. Examples:

  • “By the end of Week 6, I will have a complete draft ready for polishing.”
  • “I will write at least 30 minutes, 4 days a week.”

🌟 5. Optional Share-out (5 minutes)Invite a few volunteers to share wins, insights, or writing hacks that helped them get unstuck.
