The Department of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment offers Assessment Workshops for Academic and Non-Academic Units at Jackson State University. Workshops are conducted throughout the year for both group and one-on-one training. These sessions are designed to assist university personnel with understanding the institutional assessment process. Attendees will be better equipped to complete the annual assessment reports that will include the following;
– Goals
– Student Learning Outcomes
– Means of Measurements
– Criteria for Success
– Results (collection of data)
– Use of Results to Improve Services
– Major Difficulties
– Operational Goals and Objectives for the next upcoming year.
