State and Federal Programs

The School of Lifelong Learning receives state and federal funds to implement special programs and service learning projects. These programs offer professional development for elementary and secondary level teachers. A few of the programs are centered around adult learners seeking basic education skills, job-training, or a post-secondary degree. Additionally, external funds from state and federal programs are used to provide training and technical assistance for critical need areas such as early childhood guideline dissemination or other public service related issues.
