Mission
he mission is to improve the health, safety, and well-being of children in Mississippi through competency-based education and training for social workers and other health and human services professionals and consumers.
Goals
The goals are to:
- Provide high-level training and education for pre-service students, social services and other health and human services providers;
- Enhance knowledge and skills of participants to promote ethical and culturally-sensitive practice; and
- Identify best and promising practices for use in direct practice and policy development and implementation.
