Family Weekend 2014

Please join us for Family Weekend, an annual event that serves as an opportunity for parents and families of Jackson State University students to attend campus activities during the fall semester. Family Weekend 2014 will be held October 31- November 2, with events running from noon on Friday, until mid-day Sunday. All JSU family members are invited to experience student life, as well as attend a wide variety of activities on campus. Experience first-hand some of your student’s favorite places on campus, meet their friends, and discover some of the resources and opportunities your student uses. You will also have an opportunity to mingle with other parents and JSU staff, get your questions answered, and find out ways you can partner with JSU and the Parents and Family Association. Thank you for your patience as the 2014 program is being finalized. Please check back periodically for updates.

Jackson offers a wide range of hotels, inns, and motels where you can find lodging while you are visiting. For your convenience, a block of rooms have been reserved at the JSU Rack Card- Millsaps. Please call 601-948-8650 and mention“JSU Family Weekend” to reserve your room at the discounted rate of $89 plus tax per night. Reserve your rooms early!
