Nycole Campbell-Lewis is an Adjunct Professor with the Executive PhD Program and an aide to the Lt. Governor of the State of Mississippi serving as a Legislative Analyst for Health and Welfare Policy Issues. She earned her B.A. Degree from the University of Mississippi, her M.A. Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi, and her Ph.D. Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Jackson State University. In 2003, she was appointed as an Executive Director of Delta Health Alliance to lead Honorable Senator Thad Cochran’s Health Initiative in the Mississippi Delta. Dr. Campbell-Lewis served as the Former Chief of Staff for the Governor’s Division of Medicaid and completed a post-doctoral fellowship as a Presidential Management Fellow in Washington, D.C. with the United States Department of Health and Human Services and a Congressional Fellowship with the United States Senate, Honorable Senator Thad Cochran’s Office. Her varied research interest include: Public Health and Social Welfare Programmatic and Policy Issues, Leadership/Executive Management Issues in Government, and Politics with a perspective on Women in Leadership Positions.
