Drs. Alfonso Crump and Charles Holbrook completed the Philosophy Reader that serves as a textbook for Introduction to Philosophy at Jackson State University.  Two significant additions include the following:  1) Dr. Holbrook’s inclusion of the etymology of some theological concepts and how existence relates to metaphysics and ontology; and 2) Dr. Crump’s illustration of how logic’s law of contraposition and rules of replacement assist with understanding analytical LSAT/GRE questions.  The 176 page reader is presently available on the blackboard for each Philosophy 301 course.  Dr. Robert Blaine, Special Assistant to the Provost for Cyber Learning, assisted with establishing the link for the Philosophy Reader on iTunes.
