Research interests: include exploring effective design solutions for converging media across different platforms, using various technologies as a tool to effectively teach students and enhance the learning environment and exploring global themes with design through analytical problem solving. His research is supported as the principal of blakstarr, and facilitator of a two week faculty-led study abroad program to Brazil.
