Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Water-Induced Hazards, Meteorology and Climatology, Climate Change, Hydraulics, Sediment Transport, Remote Sensing, Geospatial modeling, Earth Observations, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Citizen Science. 

  • Hydrology and Climate Change: Rainfall runoff, flood modeling, coastal hydraulics, hazard prediction, climate Modeling, climate change impact analysis, watershed analysis, Water quality modeling.
  • Water Resources Management and Water-induced Hazards: Critical infrastructure, hydropower, irrigation, bridge, cascading and compound hazards, mass failures, multi-hazards.
  • Remote Sensing and Geospatial Modeling: Earth observations, satellite-based precipitation estimates, urban heat island, land use land cover, heatwaves.
  • Big Data and Machine Learning: Cloud computing, data fusion, bias correction, spatial downscaling, Google Earth Engine.
