The Veterans and Military Student Support Center at Jackson State University is staffed by dedicated professionals who are passionate about serving veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, dependents, and survivors. Our team works diligently to ensure that military-connected students receive the guidance, resources, and support needed to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Responsible for advancing programs that serve veteran and military-connected students, fostering partnerships across the university and community, advocating for student success, and guiding the continued growth and development of the center.

Oversees the daily operations of the Veterans & Military Support Center, ensuring that administrative functions and student services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Coordinates office communications, maintains records, schedules appointments and events, and serves as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Supervises VA work-study students and assists with program activities, event planning, and special projects that support veteran and military-connected students.

Serves as a primary liaison between the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and student veterans, military-connected students, and their families. Responsible for certifying enrollment for VA educational benefits, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and assisting students in navigating the benefits process to support their academic success.
