If you completed your application online, you will receive an email when the documents have been received, or you may call Undergraduate Admissions at (601) 979-0928 for assistance.

How long does it take to get a decision?

Normal processing time is 4-6 weeks after all required documents are received in Undergraduate Admissions. If you completed your application online, you can check for receipt of documents and your status at anytime. The decision updates instantly.

I have been accepted but haven’t received a letter, how can I obtain a copy of my admissions letter?

Undergraduate Admissions sends correspondence regularly. Please allow 14 business days after a decision is rendered to receive official notification. If you have not received a letter after the allotted time, please contact Undergraduate Admissions at (601) 979-0928.

Is there an application fee?

Yes, JSU has a $25.00 non-refundable application fee. Please log in to your application portal for deadlines.
