Global Ties USA

Global Ties USA is a nonprofit membership association that includes individuals, program agencies, and 94 community organizations (CIVs) throughout the United States. NCIV members design and implement professional programs, provide cultural activities, and offer home hospitality opportunities for foreign leaders, specialists, and scholars participating in the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and other exchange programs. Mississippi Consortium of International Development

The Mississippi Consortium of International Development is one of several nonprofit, National Program Agencies (NPAs) based in Washington, DC that administers the International Visitor Leadership Program.  The program, designed to enhance mutual understanding through professional and cultural exchange, brings approximately 5,000 current and emerging leaders in government, politics, civil society, business, media, education, the arts, and other fields to the U.S. each year.  To visit MCID Washington, please click here.

International Institute at the Graduate School

The International Institute at the Graduate School designs and administers exchange programs for U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, international and non-governmental organizations and groups. Meridian International Center

Meridian has been advancing the United States’ public and cultural diplomacy efforts since 1960. Tens of thousands of international leaders have participated in exchange programs designed to increase their understanding of the United States and the American people.

Leadership Exchanges Meridian is the leading manager of the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange operation—the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) — and creates custom programs for other U.S. government agencies, as well as public and private sector organizations.

Cultural Exhibitions Meridian’s Art for Cultural Diplomacy program creates opportunities for Washington, DC, national and international audiences to learn about other cultures through the eyes of visual and performing artists. Phelps Stokes Fund

Phelps Stokes Fund is America’s oldest continuously-operating foundation serving the needs of African-Americans, Native Americans, Africans, and the rural and urban poor.  Phelps Stokes played major roles in the creation of Howard University, Clark Atlanta University and Fisk University as Centers for Excellence in the education of blacks.
