Dr. Alisa Mosley’s Biography

Dr. Alisa Mosley has a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Nebraska. Her areas of emphasis were organizational behavior, organizational theory and human resource management.  Dr. Mosley has served as an ASEE fellow with the Department of the Navy, working with the civilian branch of the Navy to develop and implement a formal mentoring program. Additionally, she has conducted training in professional development, leadership, and mentoring. For the past four years, she worked with high school students, training them in the areas of finance, business plan development, marketing and computing.

An active researcher, she has published in several peer-reviewed journals including the Academy of Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Leadership Studies, Journal of Management Research, Marketing Strategies, and Organizational Dynamics. She is on the editorial board of the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies. Additionally, she has published a case dealing with the transition of U.S. companies to a one-world market, published in one of the top textbooks for graduate-level international business courses. Dr. Mosley received her B.S. degree in business administration and a M.B.A. in finance from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
