ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Core Academic Foundations in Business
The MBA and MPA programs are designed to prepare students for successful careers as business leaders, and seek to serve the needs of the full-time student as well as the working professional.  Accordingly, the program has instituted paths of degree completion ranging from a twelve-month fast track plan for the full-time student with a bachelor in business to a five-semester plan for the part-time student. The MBA On-line is also a fast-track 12-month program for the working professional. The Ph.D. program in Business is designed to develop outstanding scholars and researchers in the fields of business and prepare them for successful careers in academia, business and government.  Since its inception, the Ph.D. program has maintained a 100 percent placement record of its graduates.

The College of Business, along with all its programs, is accredited by the AACSB International.

LEARN BY DOING

The unit works in coordination with the office of the dean and the four departments within the college to deliver its degree programs: the department of Accounting, the department of Economics, Finance and General Business, the department of Management and Marketing and the department of Entrepreneurship and Professional Development. In addition to classroom instruction, our programs often provide opportunities for hands-on learning through internships, co-op programs, experiential learning projects, and case studies. These experiences allow students to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-world business situations, helping them to develop practical skills and gain valuable experience.

“Challenging Minds, Changing Lives.”
